The Blue Palo Verde (Cercidium florid) is the classic version of the Palo Verde that has been growing in the Southwest for centuries. The Blue Palo Verde is an excellent shade providing tree, and very suitable to its native desert environment. Known for its early arrival of bright golden yellow flowers, the Palo Verde is among the most popular trees used in Sonoran landscapes.
