Mexican Fan Palm Care & Pruning
North County San Diego Tree Care Specialists
The Mexican Fan Palm (Washingtonia robusta) is one of the most recognizable trees in Southern California. Commonly planted along streets, commercial properties, and residential landscapes, it is valued for its tall, slender trunk and fast growth. While low maintenance compared to many trees, it requires regular trimming to remove dead fronds and prevent buildup that can become both unsightly and a fire hazard.
