The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is an organization dedicated to fostering worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees and the value of proper tree care.
WCISA is a member-driven organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees. The Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture was formed in 1934. It is a nonprofit corporation comprised of over 3200 persons in Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada engaged or interested in the practice of arboriculture.
The Mission of The Professional Tree Care Association of San Diego County (PTCA) is to improve our community’s quality of life by making our urban forest safer and more beautiful through education and proper tree care. Commercial members provide tree-related services for municipal, commercial and residential clients must meet the following requirements: Minimum $250,000.00 public liability and property damage insurance (combined single limit). California State Contractor’s License with a classification of C-27 or C-61 (D-49).
The CLCA is a non-profit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. Also included among its approximately 3,200 members are landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students. Contractor members are licensed by the state of California. CLCA educates consumers about the dangers of hiring unlicensed contractors and maintains an Operation Helping Hand Program to encourage and help unlicensed individuals become licensed landscape contractors.
P.A.P.A. is a California non-profit, public benefit corporation which is dedicated to providing Continuing Education and to the implementation of safe and effective pest control techniques.
